Our Projects

Student Clinical Opportunities for Premedical Experience

Engage in active clinical experience in the Emergency Room of Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Learn first hand about the true nature of trauma medicine by working closely with attending physicians and patients. Make an immediate difference in health care efficiency and increase patient satisfaction by serving as an interpreter in either Spanish or Vietnamese.

“Remember Me”

Solve the growing problem of orphaned and vulnerable children in Ghana by building an online database of child profiles. Work closely with the Department of Social Welfare and orphanages to connect abandoned children with extended kin or facilitate adoption into loving families. KaeMe is a remarkable branch of social entrepreneurship that brings sponsorships, enthusiastic student volunteers and government support together to foster happy and healthy childhoods for neglected youth in the third world.

Courage Project

Contribute to an ever growing online publication that exalts heroic acts done by innovative and courageous individuals in science, human rights, law and education. Students with an interest in journalism are given ample autonomy to conduct research on opportunities to make a difference, and spotlight heroes from all walks of life, who inspire high impact and meaningful contributions to the world.

Premedical Career Pathway Research

Premedical Career Pathway Research is a must-read for those seriously considering a future in medicine. An array of insightful topics help readers weigh the pros and cons of pursuing an M.D., understand lifestyles within each specialty, glimpse med school admission statistics, discover alternative careers in medicine and learn more about global health issues.

Happiness Science

Assist a group of Stanford-based researchers that are investigating the nature of happiness, with the aim to inspire readers to actively create their happiness.  This program utilizes current research in neuroscience, genetics and psychology to compile a central online resource on happiness.
